To the cousins that I have lost touch with
(Which includes my two uncles and an aunt who were so close in age with me that we considered each other cousins for so long.)
I miss you.
I miss playing Red Rover, Hide and Seek, Simon Says, Red Light, Green Light, Cops and Robbers, Capture the Flag and all those childhood games with you.
I miss asking my parents if you could come over and play.
I miss the sleepovers.
I miss the laughs, the jokes, and the memories.
We have all grown.
We have all matured.
We all have our own lives going on.
I understand that.
We may not talk all the time anymore, but I just want to tell you that I love you, I miss you, I support you and you are doing amazing in life!
Though it is sad how we went from being so close to each other to hardly talking, I want you to know that I will always be here for you.
We were family then,
we are family now
and we will always be family.
I love you.

I feel you on this post. I have a cousin, too. Well, had. He was really my best bud in childhood. Like you, we grew apart. The saddest thing is, he met an accident on the way home. It was a couple of days before new year, 2 years ago. I miss him.
